Xanax is a big no-no during pregnancy & delivery. Talk to your doctor, mine said there are other things they can give you to calm you down, I have the same concerns about delivery.
Definitely ask your doctor about anxiety meds during labor and I’d be curious to hear what they say. Xanax does have a short half life so it might not last very long during a long labor. That’s something to think about too. Maybe there’s a better medication out there. H.
